Job Summary
The Solutions/Systems Analyst is responsible for understanding business needs and translating them into effective system solutions within a banking environment. This role works closely with business teams, developers, and vendors to ensure systems are integrated, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
Analyze existing systems and identify areas for improvement
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications
Support the design and implementation of system solutions
Work with internal teams and third parties to integrate systems
Assist with testing and ensure solutions meet business requirements
Troubleshoot system issues and support ongoing operations
Ensure solutions meet security and regulatory requirements
Technical Overview
The role involves working with:
Web-based systems and applications
System integrations and data exchange between platforms
Databases and basic data analysis
Banking systems such as payments and digital banking platforms
Skills Required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of systems and how they interact
Ability to communicate between technical and business teams
Attention to detail and good documentation skills
Basic understanding of web technologies and system integration concepts
Experience
Minimum 6–10 years in a Systems Analyst or similar role
Experience in banking or financial services is preferred
Qualifications
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
