About the Role:
 
 We are looking for a driven and curious Specialist: Software Asset Management (SAM) who wants to make a real difference and build a meaningful career in SAM. This role is ideal for a high-learning-agility, self-starting professional who thrives on solving problems, taking ownership, and continuously growing their expertise. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening our IT Asset Management capability through effective software license management, audit readiness, optimisation of software usage, and ensuring compliance across enterprise software contracts.
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 • Manage the full software asset lifecycle processes across the organisation.
 • Ensure compliance with vendor licensing terms and internal governance standards.
 • Maintain accurate and up-to-date license data within SAM tools (Flexera, Snow License Manager -FOSM and ServiceNow SAM Pro).
 • Analyse license usage and entitlement data to identify optimisation and cost saving opportunities.
 • Support software renewals and true-up processes with Procurement, Vendor Management teams and Business Unit Stakeholders.
 • Prepare detailed reports such as Effective License Position, Compliance risk, as well providing optimisation insights.
 • Collaborate with different stakeholders like IT, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to align SAM practices with organisational objectives.
 • Support in driving continuous improvement of SAM processes, controls, and documentation.
 
 Key Requirements:
 • Minimum 3 year experience in Software Asset Management License Management.
 • Proven experience working with Tier 1 Enterprise vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Adobe, etc.).
 • Hands on expertise with Flexera and ServiceNow tools.
 • Strong understanding of software licensing models, contracts, and compliance principles.
 • Demonstrated experience in software optimisation and cost-avoidance initiatives.
 • Experience in supporting vendor audits and ensuring audit readiness.
 • Excellent data, analytical and reporting skills.
 • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
 • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills at a senior level
 
 Desirable:
 • Certifications: ITIL and/or CSAM.
 • Experience working within large, complex Enterprise environments, financial industry preferred.
 • Familiarity with SaaS license Management (such as M365) would be an advantage
