Solution Analyst

Role

Role Responsibilities: 
A Solution Analyst is responsible for evaluating, designing, and implementing IT systems to meet business needs. They act as a bridge between business users and IT teams, ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with organizational objectives and function efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities: - 
▪ Requirements Analysis & Business Needs Assessment: 
·       Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in system functional requirements. 
·       Identify and document system gaps  
·       Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications. 
·       Translate business requirements into functional Salesforce requirements.     
·       Drafting of Technical/Functional Spec (FRS, BSS, Use Case) to outline technical design and implementation. 
·       Align functional requirements to reuse, optimize and adopt out of the box Salesforce config utilities e.g impacted standard or custom object, field mappings, workflows, validation rules, and automation (e.g., Process Builder, Flow). 
·       Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for product capabilities and solutions.   
·       Conduct gap analysis to identify improvements in current systems. 
·       Identify and document system gaps  
·       Understand and draft the as-is + to-be process 
 
▪ System Design & Development Support: 
·       Collaborate with business, design, developers, architects to design IT product 
·       system solutions and capabilities. 
·       Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. 
·       Provide input on system architecture and integration with existing technologies. 
Testing & Quality Assurance: 
·       Define clear functional acceptance criteria to form quality test cases and participate in system testing to validate system builds meets requirements specifications. 
·       Assist and support end users to understand system capability within UAT cycle. 
·       Identify, document, and track identified system defects and performance issues. 
·       Work with QA teams to ensure system functionality testing is aligned and meets business requirement. 
·        
System Implementation & Support: 
·       Assist in system deployment, upgrades, and configuration. 
·       Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for IT systems. 
·       Develop technical documentation, including user guides and system manuals. 
 
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: 
·       Work closely with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors. 
·       Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and refine solutions. 
·       Conduct walkthroughs, playback demo sessions to business stakeholders to ensure 
·       system functionalities align with business case needs.
 
Key Skills & Competencies: - 
▪ Technical & Analytical Thinking - Ability to assess system requirements and troubleshoot 
issues. 
▪ Business Process Understanding - Knowledge of business process workflows, case 
creations and how they interact with IT systems. 
▪ Knowledge and Understanding of Integration API’s & Database Query Syntax - Familiarity with API’s (XML, JASON), SQL [Important] 
▪ Communication & Collaboration - Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
▪ Project Management - Experience with Agile, Scrum methodologies and practices. 
▪ Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in analysis and design documentation, validation testing, and implementation. 
 
Qualifications & Experience: - 
·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field. 
·       3-7 years of experience in system analysis and design, software development and integration. 
·       Experience and knowledge working with front end CRM applications (Salesforce, etc). 
·       Must have Salesforce Certification/Accreditation: [Important] 
·       Recommended certifications include (salesforce Administrator, Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud etc). 
·       ▪ Experience within the financial sector e.g Banking, Credit, Insurance etc is preferred.
