Job Description / Responsibilities:

Effectively work in a fast-paced environment utilizing the Agile methodology
Develop and maintain functional automation test scripts utilizing frameworks and best practices
Execute test scripts to validate correct functionality of application
Perform various types of testing including smoke, white box, black box, integration, end-to-end, regression, as needed
Participate in requirement & design review sessions; evaluate requirements & design docs from a quality test automation standpoint
Document defects and evaluate priority of defect based on overall application functionality
Multi-task to meet assignment deadlines
Accurately estimate work assignments
Identify obstacles and roadblocks; and offer suggestions to work around obstacles
Help drive and improve QA process within the team you are assigned

Background and experience required:
Min 5 years Banking Industry

Good exposure to automation and open to learn new technologies
Must work independently and must take responsibility of the delivery
Intermediate to senior exposure on any automation tool
Must be able to debug his applications and analyze the root cause
Should have good understanding of services
Able to run tests against services
Exposure to Atlassian suit
Strong working experience in functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
Strong understanding /working experience of analyzing requirements and extracting test scenarios and test conditions from the business / functional requirements (mandatory)
Strong understanding /working experience of writing test cases from extracted test scenarios (mandatory)
Strong understanding and experience in working with Mainframe systems (mandatory)
Strong experience in testing mainframe systems (mandatory)
Strong Communication Skills(Verbal & Written)
Good Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)

Beneficial Skills (Desired Skills):

Reporting skills (advantageous).
Experience working in an Agile environment (advantageous).
Testing certification (advantageous)
Sound Knowledge of the banking domain (banking / financial services) (advantageous)
Sound Knowledge of the Web and/ or mobile domain. (advantageous).
Exposure to CI/CD Pipelines
