Job Description
The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise application specialist with a proven track record of implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting business-critical applications. The individual should be capable of engaging with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translating those requirements into application solutions, configuring workflows and business rules, and supporting the ongoing evolution of the platform.
Experience gained on other enterprise applications is valued, as the role requires the ability to rapidly learn and become proficient in new platforms and technologies.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, data owners, architects, engineering teams, and governance functions to understand business requirements, evaluate product capabilities, configure solutions, and deliver enhancements that meet business objectives.

Business Requirements & Solution Design
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand metadata management, data governance, lineage, cataloging, and data discoverability requirements.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into application configurations, workflows, business rules, metadata models, and platform capabilities
Product Expertise
- Strong ability to understand product capabilities, limitations, and configuration options.
- Ability to align business requirements with standard platform capabilities and best practices.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, ERP, CRM, Workflow, or Case Management solutions.
Application Configuration & Implementation
- Ensure solutions are aligned to architectural standards, governance policies, and business objectives.
- Configure metadata repositories, business glossaries, classification models, stewardship workflows, ownership structures, and lineage capabilities.
- Configure and support metadata ingestion, metadata harvesting, source system onboarding, lineage capture, and catalog synchronization processes.
Product Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a functional and technical SME for Metadata Management and Data Lineage capabilities.
- Drive technical adoption of metadata, lineage, and catalog capabilities across the organisation.
- Provide guidance to business users, data stewards, and data owners on metadata governance and catalog best practices.
- Maintain awareness of product roadmaps and emerging capabilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Certifications in Metadata Management, Data Governance, Data Catalog, or MDM platforms are advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications in complex business environments.
- Experience working with Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, ERP, CRM, Workflow, Case Management, or other business-critical enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
