Role
Role Purpose
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business operations within a banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop data solutions using Java, Scala, and Python.
- Design and support cloud-based data platforms on AWS.
- Ensure data quality, performance, security, and reliability.
- Work with Data Architects, Analysts, and Business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Support data lake, data warehouse, and integration initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data processes.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience
- 2-5 years' experience in Data Engineering or Software Development.
- Experience building data pipelines and processing large datasets.
- Exposure to cloud-based data environments.
