Product Design Lead

 Senior Product Design Lead with proven experience leading design delivery across complex digital products. Strong stakeholder management, design leadership, coaching, delivery planning and quality assurance skills. Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams within highly regulated, high-volume financial services environments. Able to drive alignment across Design, Product and Technology while maintaining high design quality under significant delivery pressure.

 

 

 | The Product Design Lead will provide dedicated design leadership across the Transactional Payments portfolio, overseeing multiple strategic initiatives with aggressive delivery timelines through to December 2026. The role will be responsible for managing design delivery, improving design quality, supporting designers, strengthening collaboration with Product and Engineering, reducing delivery risk and ensuring successful execution of key Payments initiatives.

 

 

 A dedicated Product Design Lead is required urgently due to sustained delivery pressure across the Payments portfolio and the absence of sufficient internal capacity. The current Product Design Lead is only allocated at 50% and has not provided the level of delivery leadership required for the portfolio. This has impacted design quality, delivery pace, stakeholder alignment and team support. A full-time Product Design Lead is required through December 2026 to stabilise delivery, improve execution and enable successful delivery of critical Payments commitments.
